The Saturn Crash Pad is Moon's largest and thickest boulder mattress. It, like other Moon heads, is made of very high quality materials. The structure of the heads consists of two different layers of foam. At the bottom there is a 110 mm thick layer of open cell plastic and on top there is a layer of closed cell plastic 30 mm thick. The outer fabric is made of highly wear-resistant 600D ripstop recycled polyester and the corners have separate reinforcements. The bottom has anti-slip material, so the head stays in place.

All Moon heads are so-called. taco-shaped, so they have no folds and the drop base is flat. It is also easy to slip a backpack and climbing shoes inside the Taco-style heads for transport. The heads have an "inverted folding system", ie the heads are bent in the opposite way to the heads of other manufacturers. As a result, the convex side of the head remains upwards and the dirty side facing the ground folds inside when carried. Clothes and your car will stay clean while the dirty side is always hidden.

The Saturn Crash Pad boulder mattress has an ergonomic backpack-type carrying system. The shoulder straps remain on the top side of the head and are hidden under a pair of velcro fabric. When carried in the same magazine, it can be turned under the head, so that the goods inside the head cannot be dropped.
