Beta Climbing Designs was founded in the UK at the turn of the millennium by Si Berry and Ian Barnes. They developed a new BetaStick extension arm that makes it easier to clip high. Despite the skeptics, Si and Ian believed in their product and it was launched to the world in 2002. The BetaStick extension arm became a hit. Over the years, it has become familiar to many sports climbers and the product has been sold in large quantities worldwide. Today, the Beta Climbing Designs product range includes other tools for rope climbing enthusiasts.
