The Black Diamond ATC XP is a multi-purpose check-in and landing device. It is a more advanced version of the genuine and original ATC. The XP model has special serrated grooves that triple the stopping force of the device. XP is light and easy to use and works with ropes 7.7-11 mm thick. ATC can be secured with two ropes at the same time, so it is well suited for securing Trad climbing, for example.
