    The Black Diamond PearLock Screwgate Carabiner is an HMS-type locking ring with a screw-lock gate. The design of the locking ring reduces the wear of the locking ring and smooths the flow of the rope. PearLock is best suited for use with landing and safety devices, such as the ATC guide, or you can do a Munter knot on it for emergency exit or to secure in a rescue situation. The locking ring has a Hot Forged construction, which makes it lightweight but still very durable. Smooth KeyLock port prevents equipment from sticking to the locking ring.
