The Black Diamond Hotforge Screwgate Carabiner is a lightweight and versatile D-type locking ring with a screw-lock gate. The D-shaped locking ring is most likely to remain properly loaded in the longitudinal direction and is ideal for sport climbing. The locking ring has a Hot Forged construction, which makes it lightweight but still very durable. The smooth KeyLock port prevents equipment from sticking to the locking ring.
